And also something that they gave us two months ago that I completely forgot about (Thanks so much, Oskar and Pam!)!
I mean, how did I forget this?
So, I'm supposed to forward this to ten blogs and answer these questions:

Favorite number: 12. It was my jersey number when I was a kid.
Favorite Non-alcoholic drink: Lemonade. I love it!
Facebook or Twitter: Facebook. I don't have a Twitter!
My Passion: My dogs!
Favorite pattern: Hmm....I like the pattern on this blog.
Favorite Day of the Week: Saturday. I get the day off!
Favorite Flower: I love every kind of Lily possible!

Now, I almost never comment on blogs (though I always love to check up on blogs. There are always plenty of interesting stories), so virtually none these blogs know who I am.

Vets, Collars, and More

Hello! A few things with the dogs have gone on, including finally finishing basic obedience with Shorty about two days after my last post. Rosy and Shorty both got matching collars:

Those dogs are spoiled rotten!
Also, Shorty went back in for her second distemper shot, and she was praised for good obedience. Yay!
I'm looking for an agility club for Shorty, and I've found one only two towns away. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer beginner's classes and it's not an USDAA club. It is CPE and NADAC though, which is a good plus. I may have to go to this one because the next club is a few hours away. I'd rather have some assistance in training her, though. I may look for someone to train with--Not to handle or train Shorty, but to exchange tips. If the other handler's dog pulled off a fantastic A-Frame and Shorty did some great weaves, it would be great to share some train tips. Shorty's very energetic and I know she's going to be good a jumps. Well, she already jumps over everyone.
Also, Rosy and Shorty got quite the commotion during the 4th of July parade. Lots of kids would say "Puppies, puppies!" or say, "So cute!" and point at each one. Happy late 4th of July, by the way. I can never post on holidays for some reason!
Rosy and Shorty are getting along famously, and look out for us on Pet Blog United on July 25th!

First Trip to Vet's

Well, at least with us. Shorty got her second round of shots, and was approved for agility. She was much more well-behaved than usual. Usually she's extremely nippy. She just sat there, all content. The shot in her shoulder was fine, but she clearly did not like the one her thigh. She's been sore all yesterday and today, surprisingly in her shoulders, not her thigh.
Rosy has to take some medicine for her joints as she ages. She still got the "a-okay" and is perfectly healthy. Since Rosy is getting grouchier as she ages, the vet wants to make sure there's no arthritis in her spine. She was also much better than usual, not in a frantic panic to get out.
Overall, the girls were very well-behaved, especially around the array of big dogs (Surprisingly, they were the only dogs under 50 pounds). No pulling, and they are very, very healthy. We recently switched to Fromm for a food, and it seems for be working out for Rosy.
Shorty has to go in for a distemper in two or three weeks. And then again when she is 4 months. The vet was very enthusiastic about agility. Shorty will be "well-behaved and healthy", which I inferred. But, yay! Shorty can do agility in a year and three months! Woo!
