Countdown to Shorty: 8 Days
Can you believe it? Eight more days!
This picture is one and a half years old. Taken a few years away from the previous pictures, but on Christmas day. Another test picture. This girl isn't alive anymore, but she was a sweet little hamster named Muffin who bared five pups in her first and only litter. And she outlived four of them!
Yep, a hamster picture this time. But still, an absolutely adorable little hamster.
And a quick thing, Rosy is finally done with target training. I'll post a video soon (I was going to fast, and took the fun out of it).

20 Days to Go
Yep, only twenty days until my first agility dog walks into my house. I've been waiting for her since late January, and now, it's finally May. I can't wait to welcome the sweet little pup into my home and cuddle her. Rosy is generally friendly, but she loves to be the center of attention. Hopefully she'll find playfulness in a ball of energy.
Shorty is still a little angel, like when we met her, according to the breeder, and I hope she'll stay that way. Feast your eyes on her newborn puppy picture!
Back when her name was Sadie. And Tootsie. And Lily. And Taffy. And Pepper. And in those day, we didn't know which pup was ours. And we don't now! In fact, the only identifiable one is the particolor. Oh well! We have pictures of the pup now!

In Early Days
Some old pictures of Rosy. She's a pretty girl!
Taken sometime in 2010. Rosy loves snow, if you haven't noticed. Her favorite thing to do in the winter is jump in it!
Speaking of Rosy, we've almost accomplished an easy trick with her: peekaboo. It's very basic and exactly what it sounds like. A dog goes through your legs and when you say "Peekaboo!" they look up at you. Rosy's small, so we have bend our knees slightly, but it's perfectly fine!

Adorable Shortcake Pictures
Since Rosy is turning into an older dog, we decided to get a second canine to cheer her up and keep her exercising. As well as this, we have goals for this puppy (Shortcake), as we want to teach it numerous tricks. If she turns out to take her mother's weight, making her a standard cockapoo, we may even teach her basic agility.
Anyway, the breeder sent us some beautiful pictures of the baby girl.
We fought over her name for two months, until we all agreed on four names: Pepper, Sadie, Tootsie, and (of course) Shortcake. Shortcake eventually won out.
This cutie is also an F1 cockapoo, and she will probably have Rosy's coat, even. But she really is a cutie pie and tiny little girl. She's a little older than three weeks and we should have her by late May.
Our hope is that she and Rosy will get along nicely and that she will be just as intelligent and willing to please. We also hope she won't react negatively to the dwarf hamsters, such as pestering them.
