Countdown to Shorty: 8 Days
Can you believe it? Eight more days!
This picture is one and a half years old. Taken a few years away from the previous pictures, but on Christmas day. Another test picture. This girl isn't alive anymore, but she was a sweet little hamster named Muffin who bared five pups in her first and only litter. And she outlived four of them!
Yep, a hamster picture this time. But still, an absolutely adorable little hamster.
And a quick thing, Rosy is finally done with target training. I'll post a video soon (I was going to fast, and took the fun out of it).

Countdown to Shorty: 9 Days
What?! Nine more days?! How is this possible? I can't wait!
An old picture of Rosy. Taken on Christmas Day. I got a new camera, and I usually take a picture or two before I actually learn how to turn of the flash and put it on macro and the exposure and all that. This was one of those pictures. Just thought I'd show it for the countdown.

Dog Books
Oh yes, I have lots of them. I actually only have one training book for little cutsie tricks (like peekaboo, which is where I got it), but I have many, many dog breed books. And dog care, even though I probably don't need twenty of them (considering I have a dog). And I got my first agility book a few days agp! And I should probably be ordering more. I'm up for a challenge, always, and agility will be a ginormous feat. Especially if I even compete with Shorty (which, with greater thought, I may just do).
And the book I got gives wonderful information, such as choosing your agility dog (which I already have). And training. Lots of that. And plenty of examples and scenarios. It's very nice and I can't wait to try out these techniques on Shorty!
And written by someone with four agility dogs, whose been in dog training for a while. It's a very good book! And I'll be looking forward to more agility books.
Besides this, Rosy's target training isn't quite perfected, but it's going really well. because of lots of homework and projects, as well as reading, research, and other hobbies, I only have a few minutes to train her everyday. I need to clear up my schedule!

In Early Days
Some old pictures of Rosy. She's a pretty girl!
Taken sometime in 2010. Rosy loves snow, if you haven't noticed. Her favorite thing to do in the winter is jump in it!
Speaking of Rosy, we've almost accomplished an easy trick with her: peekaboo. It's very basic and exactly what it sounds like. A dog goes through your legs and when you say "Peekaboo!" they look up at you. Rosy's small, so we have bend our knees slightly, but it's perfectly fine!
