The Baby Gate

Something Shorty hates. When the pups are unsupervised, we put Shorty behind a baby gate to avoid aggressive play fighting (which both girls do). Sounds harmless, right? Shorty wants to destroy it. She attempts to jump over it, whines, barks, even growls. Rosy is super comfortable with it (considering she gets most of the house to herself). And, may I mention, while I've been carrying Shorty up and down stairs since she got here, Rosy seems Goliath! Yet she's still only twenty pounds. Shorty is only five pounds. That's why. But still, not too heavy.

It's strange because when Rosy was a puppy, there was no problem with baby gates. Baby gates=sleep. Sleep+Rosy=Rosy's favorite thing in the world. Yep, Rosy's a lazy pup. Always has been. Shorty, however, is a bit more euthastic and even hyper. And she hates the baby gate in it. She chews on it (Well, we're training he rnot to chew on everything she sees) and scratches it all over. So we're training her to get more accustomed to the gate.
